About L Carnitine Supplements for Weight Loss

L-Carnitine is an endogenously synthesized dipeptide (two amino acids) that assists with the transportation of long chain fatty acids into the mitochondria of the cell. These fatty acids then undergo beta-oxidation, which means they are used as a fuel source for the production of the universal energy molecule adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
