Cellucor C4 Extreme Energy

* Nitric Oxide Boosters

* Maximum Energy

* Nootropic Ingredients

* Buffer Lactic Acid

Cellucor C4 Extreme Energy is a super-charged C4 containing more of what makes the Original C4 an explosive pre-workout. With 300mg of caffeine per serve, it will take your energy and motivation to train to the next level. In addition, Cellucor C4 Extreme Energy contains powerful nootropic ingredients that are designed to enhance cognitive function. N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine is an acetylated form of tyrosine that passes through the blood brain barrier and supports the production of the catecholamines, which are dopamine, noradrenaline and adrenaline. The catecholamines improve mood and motivation (to train), as does Mucuna Pruriens seed, a herb that naturally contains L-Dopa at clinically relevant levels1. L-Dopa is the direct precursor to Dopamine, which makes, in combination with N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine and TeacrineR, Cellucor C4 Extreme Energy a powerful dopaminergic formulation to enhance mood.

If you're not already impressed with Cellucor C4 Extreme Energy, it also contains Huperzia serrata, also known as Toothed Clubmoss. This is regarded as a cholinergic herb, as it supports the signalling of acetylcholine in the brain2. This important neurotransmitter is required for learning and memory3. In addition, alpha ketoglutarate is contained in the formulation—bound to arginine—to not only improve the bioavailability of arginine, but also to support the synthesis of ATP via the kreb's cycle (aka citric acid cycle). The kreb's cycle is the link between macronutrient metabolism (protein, carbs and fats) and the electron transport chain, which occurs in the mitochondria and is the very last stage of ATP synthesis. And of course, ATP—or adenosine triphospahte—is the universal energy molecule.

Cellucor C4 Extreme Energy is loaded with amino acids, such as creatine nitrate, beta-alanine and arginine AKG. The nitrate and arginine components support the synthesis of nitric oxide, which is a gas naturally produced in the body that causes blood vessel dilation and improves peripheral circulation. This may enhance blood circulation to muscle tissue and increase muscle pumps. Both nitrate and arginine serve as precursor—building block—molecules for nitric oxide. The creatine contained within each scoop of Cellucor C4 Extreme Energy enhances explosive strength and power, particularly for exercises lasting less than 3 minutes, while beta-alanine serves as a precursor to carnosine. Carnosine is a skeletal muscle-specific antioxidant dipeptide (two amino acids linked) that buffers lactic acid and may therefore support aerobic exercise or high repitition weight training4

So if you are ready to try something new and exciting that delivers nootropics as well as caffeine and amino acid nutrition, Cellucor C4 Extreme Energy is the pre-workout for you.
