About Beef Protein Powder
Beef Protein is sourced from either bovine muscle meat or collagen, which contain different nutritional profiles and serve different health and exercise recovery needs. The process of hydrolysis used on beef collagen proteins to break down the large protein molecules, making the finished product easier to digest and absorb. Collagen is used to promote healthy hair, skin and nails, though powerlifters and even runners often use it to promote soft tissue healing, due to the wear and tear on cartilage, tendons and ligaments.
Hydrolysed collagen has a unique amino acid content and includes glycine, proline and hydroxyproline, as well as hydroxylysine. The hydroxylated amino acids are unique and may assist with the regeneration of soft tissues, bones, organs, muscle, teeth and more. Collagen powders may be used to promote the management of arthritis along with glucosamine, sulphur (MSM), zinc and Vitamin C.
Beef protein contains the nine essential amino acids and can be used to replace whey or casein protein powders. These products are low in fat and cholesterol, which is ideal for dieting. Beef protein powders may be used any time of the day, such as post-workout or throughout the day to sustain muscle.
