OxyWhey by EHP Labs
OxyWhey provides 24g of whey and casein protein per serve with its predominant protein source being Whey Protein Isolate. Combined with Whey Protein Concentrate and Micellar Casein, this protein powder offers a multi-phase absorption rate from fast to slow. This allows amino acids to enter the bloodstream for many hours, which is great for supporting muscle recovery.
OxyWhey Protein not only promotes lean muscle but also stimulates fat breakdown and increases the metabolic rate to facilitate a ripped physique. When trying to stay lean and eating clean consistently you can sometimes feel a little flat. This is why EHP Labs OxyWhey contains mood enhancers and ingredients to ensure you stay focused.
Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) help to switch on muscle protein synthesis, while bioactive compounds (immunoglobulins and glycomacropeptides) support the immune system.
It's one thing to take quality protein. However, it needs to be absorbed to be effective. OxyWhey protein delivers a patented enzyme complex to ensure your protein is broken down into di- and tripeptides for ease of absorption and utilisation to give you the best chance of muscle growth.
Oxywhey vs Isopept Comparison
Oxywhey is more filling than isopept, because it contains casein and whey proten concentrate which take more time to digest. This makes oxywhey more ideal for weight loss programs, especially given that it also contains a range of natural fat burners, such as Green Tea and Chromium Picolinate.
Isopept is pure whey protein isolate, some of which is hydrolysed. This means that it is digested and absorbed much faster than Oxywhey. For this reason, Isopept may be better suited to anyone who frequently experiences bloating, gas or general digetive discomfort. Also, Isopept is a better option for anyone wanting to have a shake close to workout time.
Both Oxywhey and Isopept contain 2 grams of carbohydrates per serve, while Isopept contains 1 more gram of protein per serve at 25 grams. Oxywhey has 10 calories les per serve, at 120.
Honestly, we didn't think this product would taste as good as it does, especially given that it contains Green Tea powder. We thought the best oxywhey flavour was strawberry, followed by oxywhey chocolate and finally vanilla flavour. But we're splitting hairs here. They were all really nice and satisfying.
This product went down well after exercise for recovery. We also tried it as a snack thoughout the day and found it to be filling enough, likely due to the micellar casein content. This product is definitely worth a try. EHP Labs have done there homework in developing this one!
