About Soy Protein Powder
Soy Protein is derived from a legume just like pea protein, both of which contain the nine essential amino acids in abundance. The protein quality of soy can be compared to any premium protein source, such as pea, rice and whey. Research by the Journal of Applied Physiology published in 1985 indicated that soy protein is more effective than casein at stimulating muscle protein synthesis, with effects that were only slightly behind those of whey protein.
