Giant Sports Giant BCAA may look small but in this little container every serves provides a gigantic 12:1:1 ratio of branch chain amino acids (BCAA's).
Giant BCAA delivers a massive 7000mg BCAA's per serve and is highly dominant in leucine at twelve parts, to one part each of isoleucine and valine. BCAA''s have been the focus of many studies and have shown to reduce muscle soreness and recovery time, which is necessary to get the most from your next performance. Poor or incomplete recovery can have a detrimental effect on athletic performance.
Giant BCAA has looked at the findings of some of these studies which show an increased need for leucine after intense physical activity. Leucine is significantly depleted compared to both isoleucine and valine and it is this depleted amino that is required to "switch on" protein synthesis. Protein synthesis is required to build muscle, so Giant BCAA offers superior support for lean muscle gains.
Giant Sports Giant Rush is a formular laden with BCAA's to promote cellular energy for muscles and support quality muscle gains and nothing else, no carbs and no calories.
Giant Sports Giant BCAA Suggested Use:
Mix 1-2 scoops of Giant Sports BCAA in 355 - 710ml cold water and consume throughout your training or sports competition. On non-training days consume 1 - 2 servings throughout the day for a healthy drink that continues to support recovery and muscle growth.
Giant BCAA FAQ's:
Q. Can I stack Giant BCAA with Giant Rush?
A. Yes. Giant Rush is a stimulant pre-workout that is best taken prior to your training for intense energy and focus, whilst Giant BCAA provides energy at a cellular level to power your muscles, protects muscle from breakdown and enhances protein synthesis. This is why for best results it is used as an intra-workout supplement.
Q. Can I use Giant BCAA if I am in a my 'cutting up" phase of training?
A. Yes. Giant BCAA would be an ideal supplement to take during a "cutting up" phase or for anyone trying to lose weight in general. Giant BCAA contains no carbohydrates, no sugars and has zero calories great news for the "dieters". Not only does it not contain any additional calories, the BCAA's will support and protect lean muscle. This is of extreme imprortance for those who are "cutting up" as they may not be getting all the nutriition required to support there intense training schedules.
Q. Why does Giant BCAA contain so much leucine?
As stated above Giant BCAA is indeed Leucine dominant. Leucine is the amino acid most depleted during hard training or workouts. Studies have shown that it is also Leucine that promotes protein synthesis which is essential to muscle growth amongst other important roles in the body. Ensuring the body replenishes its leucine stores will be detrimental to your performance and goals. This is not to say that isoleucine or valine are not important. Both these amino acids are required for muscle recovery and protection and work synergistically with leucine, they are just required in such high amounts.
Q. Can I use Giant BCAA instead of my protein powder?
A. In short No. Whilst the BCAA's in Giant Sports Giant BCAA are at a higher ratio than most formulas they are stil not an adequate replacement for your protein powder. Protein powder is broken down into amino acids of which there are in total 20 (Giant BCAA only contains 3). Nine of these are deemed "essential" as the body can't synthesise them, so they need to be gained from our diet. Whilst the BCAA's "switch on" protein synthesis all the amino acids are required to actually develop and maintain lean muscle.
