T432 Plus

  • Thyroid Supportive Ingredients
  • Contains Super Foods, Herbs & Spices
  • Contains Ayurvedic & Chinese Herbs

T432 Plus is a potent blend of essential minerals, herbal medicines and a specific therapeutic amino acid. L-Tyrosine, included at 400mg per 2 capsules, is a conditionally essential amino acid that is synthesized from the essential amino acid phenylalanine. The thyroid hormones, which are composed of chains of amino acids and iodine, primarily composed of residues of L-Tyrosine.

Given that this important amino acid can become depleted with stressful conditions, particularly coupled with a diet low in  phenylalanine, it makes sense to provide this amino acid, alone, without other amino acids to compete for absorption. T432 really has got your thyroid's nutritonal needs covered, starting with a crucial thyroid hormone building block!

In addition to L-tyrosine, the mineral iodine is also a structural component of the thyroid hormones. This is clearly illustrated in the abbreviation for each thyroid hormone, indicating how many atoms of iodine are contained within. For example, thyroxine (T4) contains four atoms of iodine, while triiodothyronine (T3) contains three, and so on.

Research published in the Australian Medical Journal  indicates that Australians are mildly deficient in iodine1. It is important to remember, however, that the recommended dietary intakes (RDIs) refer to the smallest amount of a nutrient required to prevent a deficiency disease.

So, we have to ask ourselves, what are the odds that the smallest amount of a nutrient required to not cause illness would just happen to coincide with the optimal amount of that nutrient also? Highly unlikely! Therefore, we can assume that this mild deficiency is an indication that Australian generally do not have anywhere near the ideal amount of iodine in their diets, to support thyroid function, mammary health, antioxidant status and intelligence in growing children2

ATP T432 contains a natural source of this important mineral: Bladderwrack (a type of seaweed). Interestingly, people residing in Asian countries tend to have a high content of seaweed in their diet, with blood iodine levels around 25 times greater than those of other developed nations.

If ATP Science T432 doesn't already sound like the supplement with all the metabolic answers, it also contains selenium, an important cofactor for the activity of the deiodinase enzymes3. This ensures that T4 can become converted to T3 and T2, the former of which is believed to be much more potent than T4. Additionally, T432 Plus also contains two natural sources of caffeine, Yerba Mate and Guarana. These help to increase energy levels, naturally, and increase thermogenesis, combating some of the signs and symptoms of hypothyroidism, while the thyroid gets up and running again.

T432 Plus is a fantastic nutritionally supportive supplement that facilitates the synthesis and bioconversion of important thyroid hormones, as well as enhancing fat burning and energy levels. No kitchen counter-top should be without it!

How to Use ATP Science T432 Plus

Take 1 capsule daily with food. Capsules can be opened and sprinkled on food or added to smoothies if desired. Though side-effects are rare with ATP T432, it does contain Guarana seed and Yerba Mate, and therefore caffeine. If you are particularly sensitive to the effects of this stimulant, start with 1/2 to 1 capsules taken with food before lunch to assess tolerance.
