After suffering chronic back pain for months after a ruptured disc, I was told about MSM by a chiropractor. Within a couple of weeks, the pain had eased considerably and I was finally able to return to an (almost) normal life. I ran out of it once and didn't take it for a week, the pain returned as before. When I started taking it again, the pain subsided again! I swear by it, but I take double the dose (as advised by my chiropractor).
