Use with caution if taking Warfarin or other blood thinning medications. CoEnzyme Q10 has a structure similar to Vitamin K, and may reduce the blood thinning effects of Warfarin and similar medicines.

Several medications can deplete levels of Co Enzyme Q10 and therefore supplementation may be recommended to avert the negative effects of a Co-Q10 deficiency - these include statin drugs, beta blockers and tricyclic antidepressants.
